I really dig the way you implemented the piece mechanics in the designs, like how the king has a peg leg because he only moves one space, the way the bishops are all pointing outward to represent the diagonal attacks. Maybe the tower is a beast because the straight attacks could be seen as a big pounce? (this one is kind of a stretch i'll admit). And of course the almighty multiderectional queen. These have a lot of thought put into them and i love them and i love you and marry me maybe?
